ABOUT US

Rab Ha’s is a welcoming bar and kitchen with rooms on Hutcheson Street, Merchant City, Glasgow.

In the summer of 2017, new owners Robert (Bobsie) and Angela Mullen gave the much-loved Merchant City institution a thoughtful refurbishment. The very opposite of a bland chain, Rab Ha’s is an independent, family-run business with oodles of character. Visitors can look forward to a cosy and tranquil space (not on the weekends) with stripped stone walls, an open fire and wood panelling in the bar and function room.

Rab Ha’s is located in the heart of Merchant City on Hutcheson Street. A short walk from Queen Street and Central rail stations, the bar and restaurant are also close to pay parking facilities on Glassford Street and Albion Street.

Local attractions include city centre shopping, all entertainment venues and the historic heart of Glasgow… all within walking distance.

Unfortunately, after a particularly heavy night on the sauce in 1843, our Rab came to a sticky end, but he lives on as we celebrate his name… and his appetite…
